You will lead the design, planning, and execution of electrical infrastructure for large-scale projects, including substations, distribution networks, and renewable energy integration, ensuring technical integrity and safety.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in electrical engineering with a focus on infrastructure projects.
• Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) registration with ECSA or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical design and engineering for major infrastructure projects, including substations, power lines, and grid connections.
• Develop detailed technical specifications, tender documents, and construction drawings for electrical systems.
• Oversee the project lifecycle from conception through construction, commissioning, and handover.
• Perform advanced power system analysis, load forecasting, and protection studies.
• Ensure compliance with relevant electrical engineering standards and regulations.

This pivotal role involves leading the design, planning, and execution of complex electrical infrastructure development for large-scale projects, including substations, distribution networks, and renewable energy integration. You will be responsible for ensuring the technical integrity, safety, and efficiency of all electrical systems, while mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with diverse stakeholders. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical design and engineering for major infrastructure projects, including substations, power lines, and grid connections.
• Develop detailed technical specifications, tender documents, and construction drawings for electrical systems.
• Oversee the project lifecycle from conception and feasibility studies through to construction, commissioning, and handover.
• Perform advanced power system analysis , load forecasting, and protection studies.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant national and international electrical engineering standards and regulations.
• Provide expert technical guidance, mentorship, and review of work for junior engineering staff.
• Manage stakeholder relationships, including clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with a strong academic record.
• 10+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with a significant focus on infrastructure projects .
• Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) registration with ECSA or equivalent.
• Expertise in substation design, grid integration, and protection schemes.
• Proficiency in electrical design software and simulation tools (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP).
• Demonstrated leadership experience and excellent project management skills.
