Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years in a senior supervisory role in electrical installations.
- Ability to read complex electrical schematics, blueprints and manuals.
- Strong knowledge of national electrical codes (SANS) and safety regulations.
- Experience with high- and low-voltage installations.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead and direct installation teams of electricians and technicians.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications for complex electrical installations.
- Install, terminate, and test wiring, switchgear, transformers, and control panels.
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards.
- Oversee commissioning and testing of power distribution and control circuits.
- Quality control checks and safety hazard mitigation.
- Manage materials and equipment for installation projects.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers and other trades on site.
- Mentor junior installation personnel.
