Job summary

Centurion Systems, part of the FAAC Technologies Group, seeks an experienced electronic engineer to lead the design of complex modules and products. You will contribute to R&D initiatives, mentor junior engineers, and ensure technical excellence across regulatory-compliant development cycles.

The role requires strong circuit design, testing, and documentation skills, with a track record in delivering reliable, cost-effective solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• B.Eng or B.Tech in Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• Registration with a recognised engineering body advantageous.
• Minimum of 7 years' relevant experience in a similar engineering environment.
• Experience in a research & development environment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design complex electronic modules, components and products that are reliable and cost-effective.
• Develop project specifications and implementation plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet timelines and budgets.
• Document all work including calculations, algorithms, test procedures, and reports.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and engineering standards.
• Develop testing procedures and re-test modules and products.
• Mentor and coach junior engineers and technicians.
• Act as a technical advisor within the team.
