You will drive concept to completion, ensure technical accuracy, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver sustainable solutions.

The role requires 8+ years in electrical design within a consulting environment, strong Revit MEP, AutoCAD and Dialux skills, and solid knowledge of SANS standards and energy efficiency principles.

Qualifications

• B.Eng or B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
• 8+ years of proven electrical design engineering experience in a consulting environment.
• Proficiency with Revit MEP, AutoCAD and Dialux.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design from concept to completion for building and infrastructure projects.
• Develop detailed electrical system designs, including power distribution, lighting, earthing, and low-current systems.
• Produce comprehensive technical documentation, such as schematics, layouts, specifications, and load schedules.
• Conduct detailed electrical analysis, including load flow, fault level, and cable sizing calculations.
• Review designs prepared by other team members and provide constructive feedback.
• Liaise with clients, architects, and other consultants to ensure design coordination and project requirements are met.
