Job summary

DRA Projects, part of DRA Global, is seeking a Senior EC&I Engineer to join its Woodmead team. You will lead EC&I designs across feasibility through execution, coordinate interfaces, and support commissioning and handover for EPC/EPCM projects in the minerals sector.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in EC&I, strong technical knowledge in electrical, instrumentation and control, and EPC/EPCM project experience, with strong client liaison and team collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• BEng, BSc Engineering or BTech Engineering qualification.
• Minimum 10 years' relevant experience in EC&I engineering or related fields.
• Proven project engineering experience in minerals processing, EPC/EPCM projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage detailed EC&I designs, ensuring technical excellence.
• Ensure designs comply with standards, client specs, and legislation.
• Coordinate interfaces between disciplines for seamless delivery.
• Review technical information from vendors/contractors for accuracy.
• Contribute EC&I input into feasibility studies and project planning.
• Provide engineering support to site construction teams.
• Support commissioning activities and handover.
• Manage red-line drawings and project documentation.
• Oversee EC&I project resources, schedules and budgets.
• Oversee lifecycle from pre-feasibility to execution.
• Liaise with clients and discipline engineers to meet requirements.
