Placements24 seeks a Senior Digital Transformation Architect to lead end-to-end digital strategy, architecture, and modernization initiatives for clients from a fully remote setup, with a specific opportunity based in Bloemfontein, Free State. You will drive cloud, data analytics, AI, and IoT-enabled transformations across large organizations.

The role requires 12+ years in IT, 7+ in architecture/strategy, and deep cloud expertise across AWS, Azure, and GCP, plus TOGAF or related certifications.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 12+ years of IT experience with at least 7 years in enterprise architecture, solution design, or digital strategy roles.
• Proven experience leading successful digital transformation initiatives for large organizations.
• Deep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), microservices, APIs, and data engineering.
• Expertise in AI/ML, IoT, blockchain, and data analytics.
• Strong knowledge of agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive change effectively.
• Experience managing complex, multi-disciplinary projects in a remote setting.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF) are a strong advantage.
