Job summary

Goldman Tech Resourcing is seeking a highly experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to own complex infrastructure and cloud initiatives from concept through to production.

The ideal candidate has deep Kubernetes expertise, strong IaC skills with Terraform, and hands-on cloud experience across AWS, GCP or Azure. You will drive end-to-end projects, collaborate across teams and deliver scalable, reliable technology solutions.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years in DevOps or related infrastructure role.
• Advanced IaC expertise, Terraform preferred.
• Experience with AWS, GCP or Azure.
• Deep Kubernetes experience in production.
• Experience with MariaDB, MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Own projects from concept through production.
• Strong communication and risk-elevation ability.

Job description

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to take ownership of complex infrastructure and cloud initiatives from concept through to production. The successful candidate will bring deep Kubernetes and Infrastructure-as-Code expertise, strong cloud experience and a proactive approach to delivering reliable, scalable technology solutions.

Skills Required

• 7–10+ years' experience in DevOps or a closely related infrastructure engineering role.
• Advanced Infrastructure-as-Code expertise, with strong Terraform experience preferred.
• Significant experience with at least one major cloud provider: AWS, GCP or Azure.
• Deep Kubernetes expertise, including hands‑on experience operating production clusters at scale.
• Strong experience with MariaDB, MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Proven ability to own technical projects from concept through specification, planning, execution and production.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to provide clear updates and elevate risks together with proposed solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across different areas of an organisation.
• Strong sense of ownership and end‑to‑end accountability.
• Self‑motivated, organised and capable of managing priorities independently.
• Positive, solution‑oriented approach to technical challenges.
