United Infrastructure is seeking an experienced Design Manager to join the North West team. You will lead the design and technical aspects, coordinating external consultants and ensuring delivery on budget and programme.

Responsibilities include managing design programmes, CDM Principal Designer duties, and ensuring builds meetBuilding Regulations and company standards. Strong leadership and communication are essential for project success.

Qualifications

• Proactive design management experience on residential/building projects.
• Ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and coordinate across stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of Building Regulations and CDM Principal Designer role.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and technical processes with design teams and subcontractors.
• Develop and manage the project design programme and reports.
• Review bids, analyze design information, and assess value engineering opportunities.
• Coordinate external consultants to ensure timely on-site start.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, budgets and programme.
• Monitor design approvals and change control processes.
