Placements24 is seeking a Senior Blockchain Developer to join their DeFi-focused team in Klerksdorp, North West. The role combines hands-on smart contract work with scalable blockchain applications in a hybrid office/remote setup.

You will design, test, and deploy Solidity-based contracts, build dApps, review code for security, and collaborate with product managers and engineers to deliver cutting-edge features.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in CS/Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of blockchain development with Solidity.
• Knowledge of ERC-20/ERC-721 tokens and DeFi protocols.
• Experience with testing, security audits, and code reviews.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy smart contracts across blockchain platforms.
• Build and maintain dApps and integrate with existing blockchain infrastructure.
• Perform code reviews and security audits to ensure contract integrity.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers on new features.
• Stay updated on DeFi protocols and security best practices.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and cost.
• Troubleshoot blockchain network and contract issues.
