Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Senior Blockchain Developer to design, develop, and deploy robust DeFi protocols and smart contracts in Rustenburg, North West, ZA. You will work with a team of engineers and strategists to push blockchain innovation and financial technologies forward.

The role requires proficiency in Solidity, Vyper, or Rust, and experience with frameworks like Hardhat, Truffle, or Brownie.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Blockchain Developer or Smart Contract Engineer.
• Proficiency in Solidity, Vyper, or Rust.
• Experience with Hardhat, Truffle, or Brownie.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy secure smart contracts across blockchain platforms.
• Architect and build decentralized applications (dApps).
• Write unit and integration tests for reliability and security of contracts.
• Collaborate with product managers and developers on requirements and specs.
• Optimize gas usage and performance of smart contracts.
• Conduct code reviews to maintain high-quality standards and identify vulnerabilities.
• Stay updated on blockchain tech, cryptography, and DeFi trends.
