Placements24 seeks a seasoned Distribution Center Manager to lead operations at a large Mahikeng facility. You will drive efficiency, safety, and productivity across receiving, warehousing, order fulfillment, and shipping, while managing a sizable team and controlling costs.

The role requires extensive leadership experience in large-scale logistics, strong WMS knowledge, and a track record of improving service levels.

Qualifications

Extensive experience (5+ years) as a Distribution Center Manager or in a senior logistics leadership role.
Proven track record of managing large-scale warehouse operations and teams.
Strong knowledge of WMS, inventory control, and logistics best practices.
Excellent leadership, strategic planning, and financial management skills.
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.

Responsibilities

Oversee all distribution center operations including receiving, warehousing, order fulfillment, and shipping.
Develop strategies to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
Lead, manage, and develop a large team of warehouse staff, fostering a high-performance culture.
Ensure strict adherence to all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
