Job summary

Capitec Bank is seeking an experienced Data professional to shape the data warehouse for multiple credit and business teams. You will define data structures, ensure data quality, and work with stakeholders to translate business needs into robust data solutions.

You will lead user-story creation, coordinate across development and QA, and drive governance and cross-team collaboration. A strong background in data warehousing and analytics is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or CS.
• 5–10 years data analysis experience translating requirements into technical specifications.
• Lead data capability initiatives in large-scale data environments.
• Designs and leads test plans; validates data transformation logic.
• Collaborates with data developers to define KPI's, metrics and dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Define how data is structured, sourced and stored for trusted data across teams.
• Translate stakeholder needs into clear data requirements and documented solutions.
• Write user stories with acceptance criteria and coordinate delivery across dev and QA.
• Lead test plans and validate transformation logic; drive defect resolution.
