Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional data science experience.
• Proven expertise in machine learning and predictive modeling.
• Proficient in Python and SQL, with cloud experience (GCP/AWS/Azure).
• Hands‑on experience with geospatial data, GIS, or radar analytics is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop ML models to analyze geospatial and radar data for transport and logistics.
• Translate datasets into actionable insights to optimize movement of vehicles and people.
• Collaborate with UK and SA teams to implement data‑driven solutions.
• Improve data collection, processing, and modeling methods for accuracy and performance.
• Manage the full DS lifecycle from problem definition to deployment and monitoring.
• Contribute to scaling the DS function and mentoring junior colleagues.
