Job summary

VML is seeking a Data Engineer, Marketing & Analytics to design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines powering digital and media reporting for tier-one clients. You will work with a modern stack including GCP, Matillion, Snowflake, and Rudderstack to ensure high-quality data for Amplitude, Tableau, and analytics platforms.

You will also monitor data quality, implement governance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable AI/ML applications and product analytics at scale.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of engineering experience in data engineering or similar role.
• Experience designing and maintaining data pipelines and infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of data governance and privacy considerations (GDPR/CCPA).
• Experience with analytics platforms like Amplitude, Tableau, or Looker Studio.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Matillion and GCP services to ingest and load data into Snowflake.
• Develop SQL transformations and data models (star/snowflake) for reporting and analytics.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines for quality and performance.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and product teams to enable AI/ML initiatives.
