Job summary

CF Consulting in South Africa is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to design, build, and optimise data platforms using Azure data technologies. You will create scalable pipelines and data warehouses to support advanced analytics and actionable insights via Power BI and Tableau.

Qualifications

4-7 years of experience in data engineering or BI environments.
Strong SQL development skills with SSMS and Visual Studio.
Experience with Azure data services and data warehousing concepts.

Responsibilities

Designing and building data pipelines and ETL processes using Azure Data Factory and SQL.
Developing and maintaining data warehouses and data models.
Integrating data from multiple sources with governance and security.
Designing and implementing data integration solutions using Azure Synapse and Databricks.
Monitoring and optimising data pipelines and BI environments.
Collaborating with stakeholders to translate requirements into data solutions.
Supporting Power BI and Tableau dashboards and reporting.
Troubleshooting data issues and improving platform performance.
