Job summary

Placements24 seeks a Senior Cybersecurity Consultant to join its advisory practice, supporting clients remotely from the Mahikeng region.

You will assess environments, shape cybersecurity strategy, risk management, and security program development, leading security projects and client workshops.

Requirements: Master’s degree, 10+ years in cybersecurity, knowledge of ISO 27001/NIST/GDPR, and strong leadership and mentoring skills.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in cybersecurity or related field.
• 10+ years of cybersecurity/consulting experience.
• Experience with ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR.
• Excellent client-facing communication skills.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive cybersecurity assessments and risk analyses for clients.
• Develop and deliver strategic cybersecurity recommendations and implementation plans.
• Advise clients on information security, data protection, and regulatory compliance.
• Lead security awareness training and workshops for client stakeholders.
• Assist clients in maturing incident response and business continuity plans.
• Stay updated on threats, technologies, and regulatory changes affecting cybersecurity.
