Placements24 is recruiting for a Cryptocurrency Exchange Developer to join a rapidly expanding exchange platform in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga. The role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining high-frequency trading systems and the order matching engine to power a robust crypto platform.

You will contribute to secure, low-latency backend infrastructure, APIs, and risk management features while collaborating with frontend, product management, and QA teams; strong performance and blockchain

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS/Engineering.
• 5+ years in software development, with HFT or exchange experience.
• Proficiency in C++, Java, or Go.
• Experience with distributed, low-latency systems.
• Knowledge of blockchain tech and crypto markets.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize core exchange components including the order matching engine.
• Build secure, high-availability backend systems and APIs.
• Implement risk management and regulatory compliance features.
