Placements24 is seeking an experienced Credit Risk Manager in Rustenburg to lead and enhance the group’s risk framework. You will oversee credit risk policies, assess client creditworthiness, and drive strategic risk mitigation within the financial services sector.

Responsibilities include policy development, portfolio monitoring, stress testing, and regulatory compliance. You will mentor analysts and collaborate with business units to align with risk appetite in a leading North West financial

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or related quantitative field.
• 7+ years of credit risk management experience in financial services.
• Deep understanding of credit risk modeling, financial statement analysis, Basel Accords.
• Proficiency with risk management software and analytical tools.
• Strong leadership, communication and strategic thinking.
• Experience in a Rustenburg-based financial institution preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain credit risk policies and procedures.
• Analyze and assess the creditworthiness of corporate clients and financial institutions.
• Monitor loan portfolio performance and identify concerns.
• Design stress testing scenarios and portfolio analyses.
• Collaborate with business units to ensure risk appetite and regulatory compliance.
