Placements24 in Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal, seeks a Senior Cosmetic Surgeon Assistant to support surgeons before, during, and after operations. You will help ensure patient safety, manage instruments, and monitor patients in a fast-paced surgical setting.

The ideal candidate is an RN with 6+ years of surgical experience (3+ in cosmetic surgery) and is proficient in sterile techniques, patient monitoring, and post-operative care. BLS and ACLS are required.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with a valid practicing license.
• Minimum 6 years in a surgical setting, with at least 3 years in cosmetic surgery.
• Experience assisting in plastic and reconstructive surgeries.
• Thorough knowledge of sterile techniques and patient monitoring.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist cosmetic surgeons during a variety of surgical procedures.
• Prepare operating rooms and ensure instruments are sterile and ready.
• Monitor patients' vital signs throughout procedures.
• Administer medications and IV fluids per surgeon instructions.
• Provide pre- and post-operative patient care instructions.
