Job summary

Citigroup is seeking a Corporate FX Salesperson to build and deepen relationships with corporate clients in South Africa, delivering FX, risk management and treasury solutions tailored to each client’s needs.

The role requires strong commercial judgment, deep FX knowledge and the ability to coordinate with product, trading, risk and governance teams to provide a differentiated client experience.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to build trusted relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Strong commercial acumen with an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills across levels.
• Extensive knowledge of FX markets and products (spot, forwards, swaps, options).

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of Corporate and Public Sector clients, deepening wallet share.
• Drive the CSS strategy across the allocated client base with FX, E-Commerce and Money Market solutions.
• Originate and execute FX and risk-management transactions.
• Own revenue, client activity, market share and wallet penetration objectives across the portfolio.
• Develop deep understanding of clients' businesses to tailor risk-management and treasury solutions.
• Lead strategic discussions with clients on FX markets, hedging strategies and treasury initiatives.
