Job summary

Apex Group Ltd in Cape Town seeks a Senior Administrator - Corporate Actions (Income) to manage income distributions, ETF dividends, and related actions across client portfolios. You will validate events, calculate entitlements, and monitor deadlines with strong attention to detail.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in finance or related field and a minimum of 3 years in portfolio administration or corporate actions, preferably with asset management experience.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, investments or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in Portfolio administration, Corporate Actions, Asset Servicing, and Fund services.
• Preference for Asset Management experience and understanding of Corporate Actions and Financial Markets.

Responsibilities

• Process income distributions, ETF dividends, and other Corporate Actions across client portfolios.
• Validate event details from custodians, issuers and market vendors; reconcile entitlements.
• Perform daily cash movement and income receivable reconciliations; resolve unmatched items.
• Maintain audit trails; ensure compliance with market regulations and internal procedures.
• Produce monthly distribution reports and MIS on volumes, risk indicators and service delivery metrics.
• Support Swap Income Control process: review cashflow, preconfirm payments, reconcile discrepancies.
