Job summary

99c Cape Town is seeking a Senior Copywriter with ATL and Digital expertise to join our Creative Team, crafting compelling TV, radio and social content.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in an advertising agency, with strong digital know-how (SEO/SEM, AdWords, analytics, reporting) and the ability to work in the office and from home.

Qualifications

• 4 years of copywriting experience in an advertising agency.
• (A strong TV, radio and social portfolio is required)
• Relevant degree/diploma in Copywriting is a bonus.
• Solid knowledge of digital platforms with traditional channels.

Our Cape Town office is looking for a Senior Copywriter with specialities in both ATL and Digital to join our Creative Team.

Our Ideal Candidate

• Has a proven track record of writing for TV, radio and social platforms
• Able to work across various target markets, platforms and channels
• Has a strong understanding of retail brands
• Keeps a cool head and delivers exceptional results under pressure, against fast and tight deadlines and in volume.
• Able to work collaboratively in a team and is resourceful; focused and level-headed
• Must be Cape Town based and willing to work in office as well as from home

Requirements

Minimum relevant experience required:

• Relevant degree/diploma in Copywriting is a bonus.
• Or can demonstrate strong Copywriting experience.
• 4 years' relevant work experience as a Copywriter in an advertising agency (a strong television, radio and social portfolio is required)
• Solid knowledge/understanding of digital platforms in conjunction with more traditional channels essential.
• Solid working knowledge and understanding of social content including would be a plus:

• SEO and SEM
• AdWords
• Analytics
• Reporting
