JOB DESCRIPTION
The Control Room Operator's primary purpose is to provide support to the Production department. To ensure the compliance of production processes and staff safety by monitoring CCTV cameras. The following tasks will include, but are not limited to:
RESPONSIBILITIES (Not limited to the below):
- Monitoring/tracking of all production processes
- Monitor of all CCTV cameras for all production areas
- Monitor if all staff are adhering to company policies and procedures
- Monitor of commodities.
- Daily report of all occurrences to senior management
- Reporting of irregular activities.
- Reporting of issues to the relevant department.
QUALIFYING CRITERIA
- Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent.
- 2-5 years of practical experience in a control room or surveillance environment.
- Computer literate (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, CCTV).
- Expert use of Video Management Systems and camera networks.
- Ability to spot suspicious behavior and operate PTZ cameras with precision.
- Understanding of production process is beneficial.
- Proven track record in reviewing, auditing and extracting video footage for reports while maintaining evidential integrity.

Standard hours
- Monday- Thursday: 07h30am-17h00pm
- Friday:07h30am-16h00pm
- Will be required to work overtime as per operational requirements
