Placements24 is seeking a Senior Consultant specialized in Operations Excellence to join its remote advisory team. You will partner with clients to analyze, redesign, and implement improved processes across supply chains, manufacturing, or service delivery, driving efficiency and cost reduction.

The role requires 5–7 years in operations consulting, Lean and Six Sigma expertise, and strong data-driven problem-solving.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related quantitative field.
• 5–7 years of experience in operations consulting, supply chain management, or process improvement roles.
• Expertise in Lean, Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt preferred), and process mapping.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to interpret complex operational data.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead client engagements focused on operational process improvement, supply chain optimization, and lean methodologies.
• Conduct detailed assessments of current operational states, identifying bottlenecks and areas for enhancement.

This is a fully remote position, allowing you to contribute your expertise from anywhere within or near Durban, KwaZulu-Natal . You will partner with clients to analyze, redesign, and implement improved operational processes, driving efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing overall performance. • Proven expertise in methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt preferred), and process mapping.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex operational data.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Experience managing client projects and diverse teams, preferably in a remote setting.
• Ability to understand and articulate the impact of technology on operational processes.
• Must be able to work independently and collaboratively in a fully remote capacity from the Durban, KwaZulu-Natal region.
• Willingness to travel occasionally if required by specific client engagements.
