Job summary

Placements24 in South Africa is seeking a seasoned Project Manager with a Construction focus to lead major building projects in Klerksdorp. You will oversee all phases from planning and procurement to execution and handover, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 6 years of experience in construction project management.
Proven track record of managing commercial and/or residential construction projects.
In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and regulations.

Responsibilities

Oversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project flow.
Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings to monitor project status.
Manage risk and implement mitigation strategies to address potential challenges.
Ensure timely completion of projects and client satisfaction upon handover.
