Placements24 is seeking an experienced Senior Construction Manager to oversee large-scale projects in Midrand. You will lead project teams, ensure safety compliance, manage budgets, and deliver projects on time and within scope.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field, 8+ years of progressive experience, and proven success managing multi-million Rand constructions while maintaining high-quality safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in construction management.
• Proven experience managing multi-million Rand construction projects.
• In-depth knowledge of construction techniques, building codes, and safety standards.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities, including subcontractor management.
• Ensure strict compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to ensure work meets project specifications.
• Manage project risks, resolve issues, and communicate progress to stakeholders effectively.
• Oversee resource allocation, including labor, materials, and equipment, to optimize efficiency.
