Job summary

Placements24 in Durban is seeking a talented and imaginative Senior Concept Artist to join their creative team. You will visualize and define the aesthetic direction for characters, environments, and props across entertainment projects, shaping the look and feel of imaginative worlds.

Collaborate with art directors, game designers, and 3D modelers to iterate designs, develop mood boards, and establish visual style.

Qualifications

Minimum of 6 years of professional experience as a Concept Artist in the gaming or film industry.
Strong skills in digital painting and illustration using software like Photoshop or Procreate.
Solid understanding of anatomy, perspective, color theory, and composition.
Ability to work quickly and efficiently while maintaining high artistic standards.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
A strong portfolio demonstrating a wide range of concept art styles and subjects.

Responsibilities

Create compelling and high-quality concept art for characters, environments, props, and vehicles.
