Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS with a PGCE and 5+ years of secondary teaching experience, plus proficiency in Python, Java, and C++. Leadership in student tech clubs is aPlus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE) is essential.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience teaching computer science at the secondary school level.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, and C++ and a strong understanding of computational theory.
• Experience with curriculum development and assessment design in computer science.
• Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and coding platforms.
• Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for technology and inspiring students in Klerksdorp.

Responsibilities

• Teach computer science courses at various levels, including introductory programming, data structures, algorithms, and potentially AI or cybersecurity.
• Develop and update curriculum to reflect latest trends and advancements in computer science and technology.
