Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or IT plus PGCE or teaching qualification.
• Minimum 6 years of high school IT/CS teaching experience.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, and C++.
• Strong understanding of software development, networking, and cybersecurity concepts.
• Experience with multiple operating systems and hardware.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• SACE registration is required.

Responsibilities

• Teach IT and Computer Science courses, including programming, web development, and networking fundamentals.
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans with hands-on activities.
• Assess student progress through coding projects, assignments, and exams.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to students entering tech fields.
