Qualifications

A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field with a teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE).
Valid South African teaching certification, preferably with Computer Science specialization.
Experience teaching Computer Science or related subjects at high school level.
Proficiency in multiple programming languages (Python, Java, C++) and software development principles.

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver engaging Computer Science curriculum for high school students, covering programming, algorithms, data structures, and cybersecurity.
Facilitate hands-on learning using various programming languages and development tools.
Assess student understanding through coding projects, assignments, and exams.
Maintain computer labs and educational software, ensuring equipment is functional and up-to-date.
Inspire students to pursue further education and careers in technology within the Education & Teaching sector.
