Job summary

Momentum is seeking a seasoned Compliance Manager to develop and execute the organisation's compliance program within a stringent legal framework. The role requires guiding business units, managing monitoring plans, and ensuring timely responses to regulatory changes.

You will lead cross-functional teams, drive assurance activities, and partner with senior leaders to embed compliant practices. A FSCA-registered officer is essential along with extensive experience in compliance leadership.

Qualifications

• Post Graduate Diploma in Compliance Management is required.
• Degree in Finance, Legal or Business recognised by the FSCA.
• Registered compliance officer with the FSCA.
• 7-10 years working experience in compliance.
• 3-5 years of management experience within a compliance function.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the implementation of a compliance monitoring plan to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Review and provide oversight of the compliance monitoring plan based on combined assurance initiatives.
• Execute compliance activities to provide assurance on regulatory compliance levels.
• Manage breach management processes and follow-up to resolve breaches.
• Provide guidance on regulatory changes and establish control frameworks across the business.
• Communicate and monitor regulatory changes to facilitate compliant business operations.
