Job summary

WesBank in Randburg is seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to oversee the implementation of regulatory frameworks across the Toyota Financial Services portfolio. You will partner with business stakeholders to ensure adherence to NCA, CPA, FAIS, FICA, POPIA and AML/KYC requirements while building a robust governance culture.

The role requires leading compliance risk management, developing CRMPs, conducting monitoring, identifying control gaps, and delivering training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Compliance, Risk Management, Finance or Commerce.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Compliance Specialist/Manager role in Financial Services.
• Experience in end-to-end compliance risk management and regulatory advisory.
• Experience developing and implementing CRMPs.
• Strong knowledge of NCA, CPA, FAIS, FICA, POPIA and AML/KYC.
• Proven ability to monitor compliance, perform risk assessments and report findings.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
• Experience in banking/vehicle finance/retail financial services is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide regulatory advisory support to WesBank and Toyota Financial Services.
• Interpret and communicate regulatory requirements in practical business terms.
• Develop and maintain Compliance Risk Management Plans (CRMPs) and monitoring programmes.
• Identify risks, control weaknesses, and remediation actions.
• Conduct monitoring, report trends and key risk indicators.
• Investigate incidents and escalate regulatory concerns.
• Deliver regulatory training and awareness initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to strengthen governance.
• Support compliance with applicable laws (NCA, CPA, FAIS, FICA, POPIA, AML/KYC).
