BMW Group South Africa is seeking an experienced Compliance Specialist to safeguard the companyc assets, customers and employees. You will develop and maintain the local Compliance Management System, define strategy, assess risks and oversee controls, training and communications.

You will monitor legal requirements, coordinate with authorities and provide clear advice to management across sales, production and IT functions. English fluency and strong collaboration across cultures are essential.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of professional experience in compliance, data protection and/or information protection.
• Proven track record implementing and maintaining a Compliance Management System.
• Experience advising stakeholders and management on compliance matters.

Responsabilités

• Develop, implement and improve the local Compliance Management System.
• Define compliance strategy and perform risk assessments.
• Monitor laws and external trends; implement controls and IT systems.
• Prepare compliance communications, training and coaching.
• Manage inquiries, incidents and remediation; support sanctions where applicable.
• Coordinate with governance, authorities, auditors and external counsel.
