Job summary

FirstRand Limited is seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to oversee compliance across the WesBank Toyota Financial Services portfolio. You will partner with stakeholders to ensure adherence to financial services regulations and implement risk-based compliance programmes.

You will design CRMPs, conduct monitoring, investigate incidents, and deliver training to promote governance, ethics, and responsible lending. The role offers a path to influence governance and regulatory outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a Compliance Specialist, Senior Compliance Officer, or Compliance Manager role in Financial Services.
• Strong knowledge of NCA, CPA, FAIS, FICA, POPIA and AML/KYC requirements.
• Experience in end-to-end compliance risk management and regulatory advisory.
• Experience developing and implementing CRMPs and monitoring programmes.
• Ability to interpret regulation in practical business terms and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide compliance advisory support to business stakeholders and interpret regulatory requirements.
• Develop and maintain Compliance Risk Management Plans (CRMPs) and monitoring programmes.
• Identify and remediate compliance risks and control weaknesses.
• Conduct monitoring, reports, and KPI tracking; escalate incidents.
• Deliver regulatory training and awareness; foster governance and ethical conduct.
