The Financial Intelligence Centre invites applications for a Senior Compliance Officer: Guidance and Outreach based in Gauteng. The role delivers guidance outputs, publications, and awareness activities to support the Compliance and Prevention division.

You will engage with supervisory bodies, regulated institutions, and stakeholders, develop guidance products, coordinate communications, and mentor junior staff within the division.

Qualifikationen

• Law degree (NQF level 7) is required.
• CAMS certification or Compliance diploma is required.
• A minimum of 6 years’ AML/CFT/CPF experience.
• Experience in a regulatory environment or at group level in a large financial institution is advantageous.

Aufgaben

• Deliver guidance workstream outputs, including guidance products and publications.
• Provide technical support for stakeholder engagements on AML/CFT/CPF guidance.
• Coordinate the publications plan and manage approvals, reviews and tracking.
• Assist with PQP framework, templates, governance and QA processes.
• Conduct formal presentations on AML/CFT/CPF risk and compliance matters.
• Coach and mentor graduates and junior teams within the division.
• Support compliance training initiatives and stakeholder awareness sessions.
• Establish and maintain relationships with supervisory bodies and regulated institutions.
