Job summary

Ikwezi Mining (Pty) Ltd seeks a Community Liaison to build strong relationships with surrounding communities and authorities. You will act as the main contact for community representatives and lead engagements, consultations and grievance handling to support the mine's SL P commitments.

The role focuses on effective stakeholder management, transparent communication, and proactive resolution of issues in a rural mining environment.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric is required.
• A relevant tertiary qualification will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with communities and structures.
• Act as primary contact between mine and local representatives.
• Conduct community engagements, meetings and consultations.
• Identify and escalate community concerns and potential conflicts.
• Maintain a community grievance register and follow up on actions.
