Placements24 is recruiting a Commercial Real Estate Manager to oversee a diversified portfolio of office, retail and industrial properties in Sandton, Gauteng. The role demands strategic leadership, strong negotiation skills, and hands-on oversight of leasing, tenant relations, operations and financial performance.

You will drive asset value through disciplined budgeting, performance reporting and capital projects, while coordinating with property management, facilities and security teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in commercial property management or asset management.
• Demonstrated success in managing and optimizing commercial property portfolios.
• In-depth knowledge of commercial real estate leasing, operations, and financial management.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in property management software (e.g., Yardi, MRI) and MS Office Suite.
• Understanding of the Gauteng commercial real estate market, particularly in Sandton.
• Ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.

Responsabilités

• Manage a diverse portfolio of commercial properties, including office buildings, retail spaces, and industrial units.
• Develop and implement strategic leasing plans to maximize occupancy and rental income.
• Oversee tenant relations, ensuring satisfaction and retention through proactive communication and issue resolution.
• Manage property budgets, financial reporting, and ensure profitability of the commercial portfolio.
• Coordinate with maintenance, security, and facility management teams to ensure properties are well-maintained and operating efficiently.
• Conduct regular site inspections and oversee capital improvement projects.
• Analyze market trends and competitor activities to optimize leasing strategies and property values in Sandton.
• Negotiate lease agreements, service contracts, and vendor agreements.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and landlord obligations.
