Placements24 is seeking a Senior Construction Manager in Sandton to lead high-profile commercial property developments. You will drive delivery from inception to completion, overseeing budgets, schedules, teams, and stakeholder management in a fast-paced Gauteng market.

The role requires a proven track record delivering large, complex projects, expert knowledge of construction methods and codes, and strong strategic leadership to uphold quality and company reputation.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of progressive experience in construction management.
• Strong focus on commercial properties.
• Proven track record delivering large, complex projects.
• Expert knowledge of construction methods, materials, codes, and regulations.
• Excellent leadership and strategic planning abilities.
• Experience with budgeting, scheduling and stakeholder management.

Responsabilités

• Oversee and manage major commercial construction projects from inception to completion.
• Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial controls for multimillion-rand projects.
• Lead, mentor and manage project teams including project managers, site staff, and external consultants.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental regulations.
• Manage contract negotiations, procurement, and relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Serve as liaison with clients, investors, and regulatory bodies.
