Qualifications

• Admitted Attorney of the High Court with at least 6 years in commercial litigation.
• Proven expertise in complex commercial disputes including contractual disputes, debt recovery and insolvency.
• Strong courtroom presence and persuasive advocacy skills.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation and analytical abilities.
• Ability to manage workload independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of commercial litigation matters, drafting pleadings, notices and applications.
• Conduct legal research, prepare heads of argument, and represent clients in court, arbitrations and mediations.
• Engage in discovery, including document review, interrogatories and witness preparation.
• Advise clients on litigation risks, outcomes and settlement strategies.
• Liaise with clients, opposing counsel and stakeholders to progress cases.
• Stay updated on legal developments and case law relevant to commercial litigation.
