The ideal candidate has at least 6 years of post-qualification experience, excellent research and writing skills, and strong negotiation abilities, with a track record of client relationships and effective dispute resolution.

Qualifications

• Admitted Attorney with a valid practising certificate.
• Minimum of 6 years post-qualification experience in commercial litigation.
• Proven success handling complex disputes through to resolution.
• Excellent legal research, writing and oral advocacy skills.
• Strong negotiation and client relationship abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of commercial litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to develop effective case strategies for clients.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations.
• Draft legal documents such as complaints, answers, discovery requests, and motions.
• Advise clients on legal risks and provide strategic guidance to resolve disputes effectively.
• Liaise with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel in a professional and timely manner.
