About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect robust, scalable, and secure cloud‑native solutions on major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), with a focus on financial services requirements.
• Lead the development and implementation of cloud infrastructure strategies, including migration plans, cost optimization, and performance tuning.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate cloud services and ensure application scalability and reliability.
• Define and enforce cloud security best practices, compliance standards (e.g., PCI DSS, GDPR), and disaster recovery strategies.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams on cloud technologies and architectural patterns.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for cloud architectures and operational procedures.
• Evaluate and recommend new cloud technologies and services to enhance efficiency and capabilities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud infrastructure issues in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, with a strong focus on cloud architecture and design (minimum 5 years in a senior architect role).
• Deep expertise in at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and associated services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Kubernetes, Lambda, Azure VMs, Google Compute Engine).
• Proven experience architecting solutions for high‑availability, fault‑tolerant, and disaster‑recovery scenarios.
• Strong understanding of networking, security, and compliance requirements within the financial services sector.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are a plus.
