Placements24 is seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Security Architect to join a remote-first team. You will design, implement, and manage secure cloud environments across multiple platforms, ensuring data protection and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• 7+ years of information security experience with a strong focus on cloud security architecture.
• In-depth knowledge of AWS, Azure, and GCP security services and configurations.
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and container security.
• Strong understanding of security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001) and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills for remote collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure cloud infrastructure solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Develop and enforce cloud security policies, standards, and best practices.
• Lead the implementation of security controls, such as IAM, encryption, and network security.
• Conduct security reviews and threat modeling for cloud-native apps and services.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security into the CI/CD pipeline (DevSecOps).
• Provide expert guidance on cloud security best practices and emerging threats.
