Job summary

Andile, a specialist financial services technology firm in Rosebank, Johannesburg, is seeking a Cloud/Platform Engineer. You will shape infrastructure strategy, lead design and deployment across high-performance platforms, with a strong focus on AWS and hybrid cloud integrations.

You will guide by example, implement IaC, ensure security, scalability, and availability, and mentor Platform Services teams while driving efficient product delivery and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years hands-on cloud/platform/engineering experience
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent
• Current AWS Professional-level certification
• Proficient in IaC tools (Terraform or CloudFormation) and CI/CD pipelines
• Scripting in Python or Bash or Golang

Responsibilities

• Lead infrastructure strategy and architectural design on AWS and hybrid platforms
• Engineer and maintain codified cloud infrastructure stacks
• Oversee security controls and disaster recovery planning
• Mentor Platform Services team and govern IaC practices
