Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager for cloud migration initiatives. This fully remote role requires leading planning, execution, and governance of complex cloud migration programs across AWS, Azure and GCP, with strong collaboration across engineering, architecture, and business stakeholders. The ideal candidate will bring 7+ years of PM experience, deep cloud knowledge, and PMP/PRINCE2/CSM desirability.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of IT project management experience with a strong focus on cloud migration projects (AWS, Azure or GCP).
• Proven track record delivering complex, multi-phased cloud migrations.
• Deep understanding of cloud computing concepts, architectures and services.
• PM certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, CSM are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale cloud migration projects from initiation to closure.
• Develop detailed project plans: scope, timelines, resources, budget, risks.
• Collaborate with technical teams to define migration strategies and roadmaps.
• Ensure successful migration of applications, data and infrastructure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Manage risks, dependencies, and vendor relationships; report to stakeholders including executives.
• Implement and optimize agile practices to enable iterative delivery and change readiness.
