We're looking fora Senior Infrastructure Engineer who knows their way around Linux,cloud, automation and enterprise infrastructure.
Your mission? Keepcritical systems resilient, secure, available and running at peak performance.
You'll workacross Linux environments, cloud platforms, automation, monitoring, securityand IT operations while also helping shape better infrastructure practicesacross the team.
This isn't just a"keep the lights on" role. You'll be expected to investigatecomplex problems, improve existing systems, introduce better solutions andguide less-experienced team members.
- Install, configure and maintain Linux/Unixclients and servers
- Monitor system performance,availability and capacity
- Troubleshoot hardware, software,networking and infrastructure issues
- Investigate complex technicalproblems and implement sustainable solutions
- Apply operating system updates,patches and security fixes
- Manage users, permissions and access
- Work with networking fundamentalsincluding TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs and firewalls
- Implement security best practicesincluding patching, firewalls and SELinux
- Deploy, manage and operate workloadsacross AWS and Azure
- Implement cloud security andcompliance controls
- Develop and maintain automation andconfiguration management
- Use Git/GitHub for version control
- Provide remote support using SSH,VNC and RDP
- Manage backup and recovery procedures
- Maintain accurate technicaldocumentation and configuration records
- Keep the knowledge base current anduseful
- Track Jira user stories and make suredeadlines don't disappear into the void
- Manage Problem, Incident andChange processes
- Support operational stability and ITservice standards
- Participate in and moderateoperational meetings
- Provide guidance to junior andless-experienced team members
- Participate in standby andoccasional weekend support when required

Qualifications/Experience:
- StrongLinux experience — RHEL, Ubuntu and/or SLES
- Strongscripting/coding skills — Bash, Python, PowerShell and/or Perl
- StrongAWS and Azure experience
- Strongunderstanding of Linux administration
- Strongunderstanding of networking fundamentals
- Experiencewith Git/GitHub
- Experiencetroubleshooting complex infrastructure environments
- Degreein Information Systems or equivalent practical experience
