Job summary

Optimal Growth Technologies is seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to support a client on an ad-hoc, project-based basis. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure and Microsoft technologies across enterprise IT environments.

You will lead Azure and AD administration, troubleshoot complex issues, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver project requirements while aligning with security, performance, and operational standards.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise IT environments.
• Senior-level expertise in cloud infrastructure and Microsoft technologies.
• Experience designing, implementing, and supporting cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, maintain, and support cloud infrastructure environments.
• Provide senior technical expertise on ad-hoc infrastructure and cloud projects.
• Support and manage Microsoft Azure cloud services and environments.
• Administer and support Microsoft Active Directory and related Microsoft infrastructure technologies.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, cloud, connectivity, and system-related issues.
• Assist with cloud migrations, infrastructure upgrades, integrations, and optimisation initiatives.
• Implement and maintain infrastructure security, access controls, and best practices.
• Collaborate with technical teams, stakeholders, and client representatives to deliver project requirements.
• Provide technical documentation, reporting, and knowledge transfer where required.
• Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture, security, performance, and operational requirements.
