ATS Client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg. You will ensure uptime, reliability, and resilience of our data processing platforms and APIs, collaborating with development, operations, and data teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field.
5+ years in infrastructure engineering or systems administration.
Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP and Docker/Kubernetes.
Proficient in scripting (Python, Bash, Terraform).

Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and maintain robust infrastructure for data platforms and APIs.
Monitor performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize for uptime and resilience.
Develop automated processes for deployment, scaling, and recovery.
Collaborate with development teams to meet reliability and performance standards.
Lead incident response and root cause analysis for production issues.
Evaluate new technologies to enhance infrastructure efficiency and scalability.
Document infrastructure designs, procedures, and guidelines.
