Job summary

Prudent HR Solutions in East London (South Africa) seeks a Senior Programs and Operations Manager to provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for clinical trial programs, bridging program management and operational excellence to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

You will oversee cross-functional teams, optimize resources, enforce ICH-GCP and regulatory standards, and drive KPIs while mentoring department heads and reporting to executive leadership.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Project Management/Healthcare or related field.
• 3+ years in a senior project or operations management role.
• Knowledge of ICH-GCP, FDA, EMA and other regulatory requirements.
• Experience leading multi-phase clinical programs.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of multiple clinical trial programs across all phases.
• Oversee timelines, budgets, and milestones per regulatory and contractual requirements.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless program execution.
• Identify risks and dependencies; implement mitigation strategies.
• Mentor Heads of Departments and drive performance.
