Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Professional registration as a Pr. Eng. with ECSA is mandatory.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive civil engineering experience, with at least 5 years in project management.
• Proven ability to manage budgets exceeding R50 million and lead multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead full project lifecycle for civil engineering projects, on-time and within budget.
• Develop detailed project plans: scope, resources, scheduling, risk assessment.
• Monitor progress and implement controls to address deviations.
• Manage client relationships and serve as primary contact for project matters.
• Coordinate internal teams, consultants, and contractors.
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards, codes, and regulations.
• Conduct site visits and reviews to ensure quality and safety.
• Prepare comprehensive project reports and final documentation.
• Identify and mitigate risks with contingency planning.
• Contribute to business development and proposal preparation.
