Placements24 is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead critical civil infrastructure projects around Paarl. You will manage planning, design coordination, construction supervision, and stakeholder engagement to ensure on-time delivery of high-quality outcomes in the Western Cape.

The ideal candidate brings a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with 7+ years of project management experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and a proven track record in large-scale construction

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• At least 7 years of experience in project management and execution of civil infrastructure projects.
• Proven track record in managing large-scale construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of project management software and methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of civil infrastructure projects, including planning, design, procurement, and construction.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources effectively to ensure timely and cost-efficient delivery.
• Coordinate with design teams, consultants, contractors, and regulatory bodies to achieve project objectives.
• Ensure that all projects comply with relevant engineering standards, safety regulations, and environmental policies.
• Monitor construction progress, conduct site inspections, and resolve technical issues as they arise.
• Prepare project reports, progress updates, and final documentation for clients and stakeholders.
